‘THE LORAX’ WORLD PREMIERE IN HOLLYWOOD
I spent the afternoon at Universal Studios Hollywood working the “Orange Carpet” for the world premiere of ”The Lorax”. This is the new animation film based on the Dr. Seuss classic children’s book “The Lorax” (it’s also directed/produced by the creators of “Despicable Me”).
I learned today that most of the cast had never met before this moment (that is the Office/Hangover star Ed Helms shaking Taylor Swift’s hand).
Things got a little chaotic on the “orange carpet” when Zac Efron and Taylor Swift made their way toward where I was standing. My location was almost directly across from tons of adoring fans (aka: screaming teenage girls).
This is another angle of that same moment. In this shot you can see my photographer (aka: My Executive producer Steve) doing his best to get a reaction shot.
My favorite part of both photos— the blonde reporter in the middle. No doubt, she’s done this before.
I was there today getting reaction for “The Young Turks” on Current TV, which I will put together later this week. The stars of the film had a lot to say about the movie’s message and how the current crop of Republican Presidential candidates might learn a thing or two from it.
